  8. He's angry that it's sponsoring ABC's TV version of The Final
  9. Days, adapted from Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward's book on his
  10. waning presidency and featuring Lane Smith, left. An aide sent
  11. AT&T a searing letter suggesting a change of slogan to "Reach
  12. Out and Smear Someone," and Nixon canceled his AT&T service and
  13. switched to MCI.
